Phil Rayner and Vic Barnett travelled to Stratford-on-Avon for the latest League of Veterans road race promoted by Solihull Cycling Club.
As persistent rain feel throughout the 40 mile road race all of the competitors struggled with the torrid conditions, with riders either withdrawing due to punctures or extreme cold.
Both Phil and Vic battled to the end. Phil secured second in his category and Vic sprinted to 4th in his respective age category.
