Memberships for 2011 are now due by March 1st.
Club calendars and membership renewal forms will be
posted out on Feb 5th.
Membership Renewal and Subscriptions
I have enclosed a membership renewal form with a member’s
commitment form on the reverse side. We would appreciate it if you
would complete both of these and return them along with your
subscription to Claire Waterfield, Membership Secretary, even if you
completed them last year and you don’t think there are any changes.
These forms can also be downloaded from the club website –
you’ll find them in the ‘HOME’ section.
Please use this facility if there is more than one club member
in your household.
Participation in the club competitions 2011
As our membership grows, the task of coordinators of club competitions
becomes ever harder.
A particular problem for them is knowing whether or not returning club
members have paid their annual subscription by the time they
participate in their first club event of the season.
To make the task of the coordinator more manageable,
the committee has decided that in order to participate in
any of the club competitions, returning members must pay
their annual subscription by
March 1st.
Members Commitment
The support of all members is critical for the operation and development
of the Club.
To this end we require everyone to offer their services according to their
own skill level and experience.
Currently all members are eligible for periodic marshalling.
Every member is requested to offer at least three more duties from
the list.
It does not mean that you will be asked to do any or all of them but
it does allow everyone to commit to something in which they may
have some skill or experience – even making the
tea!
This obligation applies to all members over 18 except
life members who are exempt unless they are still
active competitors in which case they may feel that
it is appropriate to volunteer.
