UPDATE
Evening all,
I've just spent a lovely evening inspecting the track.
Entrance to the downhill track will be sign posted in Mowsley village.
If you are coming from Saddington you will turn right just as you pass the park and enter the village.
If you are travelling from Lubenham / Theddingworth drive through the village passing the Church and School, as the road turns sharply to the left the entrance to the course is at the end of the row of houses.
Parking – Please park in the first field and walk down the track to the signing on at the bright Yellow Gazebo.
Session plan –
Whizz Kids to walk up to the start inspecting the course with a coach completing a question and answer session.
They will then complete one practice run.
The second run will be timed.
The Mowsley Downhill Challenge Course.
The course is about 400m in length, the first 300m is on a fast dust track before the Whizz Kids will enter a natural amphitheatre and complete a series of corners in 'Oliver's Hollow' before crossing the finish line.
I must stress the course is for all Whizz Kids age groups.
Many thanks to the Haines family for the use of the land.
