On Friday evening, a strong Welland Valley contingent competed in the latest round of the Friday Night Summer Series, mountain bike event held at Delapre Abbey.

In the Youth race, Welland Valley had a 1-2, with Ben Morris holding off the challenge of clubmate, Louis Killworth to take the win with Ria and Jade Mobbs 4^th and 5^th respectively.

In the Grand Vets race, Vic Barnett took 3^rd, ahead of John Taylor in 6^th and Graham Healey 17^th.

Mike Winters put in another solid performance earning a 4^th place, with Rob Jacks 8^th, Chris Begley 11^th, Andrew Wood 24^th, Adrian Killworth 31^st and Nick Barnett 52^nd, within the Vets Category.

Los Cox, Nik Kershaw and John Chell rode the Senior event, finishing 46^th, 58^th and 65^th.
