Welland Valley CC Evening 10 - 15th June
On Tuesday evening, Peter Watson smashed the current course record for the new Langton course, recording a time of 24.11. Watson finished ahead of Hans Van Nierop in second place, whose time of 24.39 was also good enough to beat the previous course record and Adrian Killworth took third place in a time of 25.10.
Junior rider Tom Harrison and Chris Hyde have been close on times over the past few weeks, with the youngster managing to beat Hyde on the past few occasion. Harrison took fourth place on the night with 25.34, two seconds clear of 24.36.
In total there was 53 riders competing on the night, in cooler conditions than expected for this time of year.
