Making a rare appearance on an evening time trial, Phil Rayner lowered the course record for the Langton 10 Mile Circuit on Tuesday evening. Rayner smashed the previous record set by Peter Watson the previous week, setting a time of 23.23.

In second place was Hans Van Nierop, with a time of 24.37, followed by another excellent ride by Tom Harrison, just missing out on breaking 25 minutes, stopping the clock with 25.01.
