With heavy rain showers turning sections of the fast course into a skid pan the rider’s required good bike handling skills to master the conditions.

Chris Begley was the pick of the Welland Valley competitors as he finished 5^th in the veterans race. Chris is enjoying his first ever season of MTB racing, he has been getting stronger and stronger with every round.

Supporting Chris was Dean Barnett 12^th, Andrew Wood 18^th, Rob Jacks 20^th, Adrian Killworth 29^th, Ben Hyde 41^st and Nick Barnett 43^rd.

 

The Whizz Kids once again dominated the Youth race with victory going to Ben Morris, followed by Jake Hubbard, Louis Killworth, Jade Mobbs, Katie Hubbard and Ria Mobbs. They all produced great performances.

 

In the Senior event won by Dan Booth (Cult Racing). Nick Horder was the best of the Welland Valley in 20^th place followed by John Chell 38^th and Nik Kershaw 41^st.
