Special Rules for Club Time Trials

In the interests of both safety and the smooth running of events, the following specific rules will be rigidly enforced:-

• All riders must wear an approved hard shell helmet.

Additionally, under penalty of exclusion, no rider shall:-

• When warming up, pass by the start line once the event is under way.
• Perform a U turn within 100m of the start line.
• Return to the timekeeper to enquire of his/her time whilst the event is in progress.
• All riders are strongly recommended to use a bright red rear light throughout the event.

Use of Hard Shell Helmets

Although mandatory for Club Time Trials members are strongly encouraged to wear a hard shell on all events.
