Welland Valley Cycling Club are based on the borders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire around the Market Harborough area. We have over 150 members who travel from as far a field as Northampton, Oakham, Lutterworth and North Leicestershire to take part in our various club activities.

Our aims are to enjoy cycling and have fun. We do this in many ways. We have a very active social scene within the club with at least 3 cycling holidays each year. For the last seven years we have taken a party over to France in July to watch a stage or two of the Tour de France. For 2007 we will be in London for the Grand Depart of the Tour de France and also in France for an alpine stage! After our evening events we relocate to a local hostelry for food and a drink.

We have recently gained Clubmark status with British Cycling which enables us to run Go-Ride events for children between the ages of 5 and 16.
