Introduction

Welland Valley CC has a small but active and enthusiastic mountain bike section. We organise group rides every week all year round and encourage participation in the Trailquest and Midland Friday Night race series.

During the winter we meet on Saturday afternoons at 2.00 pm at the Bell on Northampton Road. There is normally ample free parking in the car park which is also reserved for users of the Brampton Valley Way. Rides normally finish between 4.00 and 4.30 pm with an optional drink afterwards.

During the Summer we normally change to Friday evenings at 6.00 pm, also from the Bell. These rides will be shorter than the winter ones. In addition we will continue with the Saturday afternoon rides to accommodate people racing on the Friday night. These rides are intended as recovery rides of a more gentle social nature.
