INTER-AREA CROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS
On Sunday 4th November,
Welland Valley Cycling Club (www.wellandvalley.co.uk),
will be hosting the Inter Area Cyclo Cross
Championships, supported by George Halls
Cycle Centre (www.georgehallcycles.co.uk)
in Market Harborough. This will be held for
the first time at the stunning location of
Misterton Hall, near Lutterworth in
Leicestershire. It is easy to find, being
just 800 yards off junction 20 of the M1 on
the A4304, heading towards Market
Harborough.
 This
popular location has hosted various cyclo
cross events over the past 15 years and
attracted many top cyclists from far and
wide. The challenging and varied course has
been adapted and custom made for the event,
featuring a new road section for the senior
riders and for the youths, there is a new
section through the orchard. Both circuits
bring the riders out to the front of the
main house.
As ever, the organisers
are grateful to the owner, Mrs Craven, who
regularly gives up her time as well as her
own home to support cyclo-cross and Go-Ride
events. To acknowledge this, all cars will
be asked to donate £1 parking on the day
which goes towards the up keep of this
magnificent venue. Event first aid cover
will be provided by Matt Curd from CTS First
Aid (www.ctsfirstaid.co.uk).
All day catering will be provided, thanks to
Dennis, by Quaver Catering (www.quavercatering.co.uk).

The
ever popular setting of Misterton Hall,
Lutterworth is the venue for Inter-Area
Cyclo-Cross Championship, Sunday 4th
November 2007.
The
improved course takes in the splendid
grounds of the majestic hall and consists of
an excellent mix of fast woodland, gravel
paths, grassland and tarmac.
A fantastic event for spectators.

Junction 20, M1.
